Death and the gods
| Introduction | ||
| The Romans introduced new gods and religious practices to Britain. Some were adapted to fit in with existing religions, and large temples were dedicated to the most important Roman gods including Jupiter, Juno and Minerva. Religion was also practised at home. Many small statues of household gods, and lucky charms have been found on Roman sites. |
