Knife
This curved knife is made of iron with a bone or horn handle.

This is a copy of a Saxon iron axe-hammer found at Alfriston, which could have been used as a weapon and as a tool.

This iron spearhead would have been a powerful weapon when attached to its wooden shaft.

These studs were part of a Saxon shield, and are about 50-60mm wide.

This iron shield boss would have been at the centre of a Saxon shield. It protected the hand of the shield’s owner.

A seax is a knife-like single bladed weapon. It was a continental weapon that was introduced to Britain in the 6th century.
