Question: What were their beliefs and religious practices?

Hayling Island
Temples were very rare in Britain before the Roman invasion. One of the best examples is located just outside the Sussex border at Hayling Island in Hampshire. A central shrine contained a pit where offerings to the gods may have been placed. Most of the rituals including animal sacrifice would have taken place outside of this building.

Wlimington head
A carved stone head, which may represent a local British god worshipped in the Iron Age. Such statues are rare in the time before the Roman invasion.
