Botolphs (Bramber)

A small early Anglo-Saxon settlement in the bottom of the Adur valley in the Downs. It was occupied from the mid 5th to mid 6th century, and consisted of three sunken buildings and one post hole. Two antler pottery dies indicate that pots were made on the site.
