| Hastings Museum and Art Gallery operates on two sites, and contains displays of fine paintings and china, social history, natural history and archaeology, including material from many Romano-British iron-working sites. It also incorporates the magnificent Durbar Hall, constructed for the Indian and Colonial Exhibition of 1886. There are plenty of special features for children with fossils, local animals and a display on the Hastings born conservationist, Grey Owl. There is also a wide-ranging programme of exhibitions by the very best local artists and national touring exhibitions. | |||||
