Marlipins Museum is housed in one of the oldest and most attractive lay buildings in Sussex. Inside, museum displays show the history of the area, from prehistoric burials to the dashing early aviators of Shoreham Airport.
Upstairs, the maritime theme develops in more detail, with ship models, seascapes and mementoes of life at sea, which played such an important part in the life of the town. There is also a temporary exhibition programme.
